Meet the Team

Here is the team. We have to thank all our team for the help and assistance that they have provided us during 2011. If it was not for their help we just would not have been able to participate. The team helps with mechanicing, lap timing, coaching (more of that later) and marshalling.

Paul

Team manager and racer! Used to be mechanic, lap timer and team manager for Spellfame Racing but now is a full-on racer for Old and Bold. Has already raced in the Endurance series in 2010 and got two podium places. "Go f*****g faster" was his main coaching weapon! Used to be in the Army in the Guards for 14 years, and visited Falkands, NI, South America etc. He has great racecraft as he used to race karts and has been pretty successful.

Andy

Riding bikes since 1975, started with a CZ125, upgraded to a MZ250 (ha ha) and had about 20+ bikes over the year including Brit iron and Harleys. Currently has a ex police 1993 BMW Kl100RT and a R1200GS as well. Designs networks and IT Security for a living and lives in Bucks. Specialises in taking the mick. Married with 4 kids, 4 cats and 1 dog and now is a grandfather!.

Kate

Paul's better half. Has really taken to this racing lark and provides a huge amount of support and backing. Kate works the pit board and timing and is dead accurate at getting us in on time and out again as quick as possible. Brightens up the place but she wont carry a brolly! Oh well we can't have everything. But couldn't operate without her.

Nick

Works as an area security manager for Waitrose. Has helped us out before with Spellfame and now an essential part of our pit crew.

Colin

Works for Hansons Aggregates. Has been a biker all his life and currently runs a Harley and a Suzuki GT500 and renovating a GT380. Helped us out at Spellfame as well marshalling but now promoted to full pit crew ;-)
