Andy had been racing in 2008 and 2009 for Spellfame racing with Richard Lloydsee www.spellfameracing.co.uk and had been reasonably successful obtaining a runners up position in the Junior Endurance series. In 2010 Andy just raced a few times with Pirate Racing as afill in rider with Paul Whiteman who was the main stay of that team. Paul had been the team manager at Spellfame Racingfor 2008/2009 and then raced with Richard Lloyd in 2010 in a team that was called Old and Bold Racing. Richard was teh old one and Paul was the bold one.
As Richard was not racing in 2011, Paul and Andy hooked up together and decided to maintain the same team name. Andy being the old one.
Paul's Bike is an 07 GSXR k7, it has a standard engine but is kitted out with a Power Commander, Brembo master cylinder and xxx pipes. It hits about 130bhp at the back wheel.
Andy's is a 07 ZX10R with a near superbike spec engine with kit pistons, rods and a close ratio gearbox. It has Brembo monoblocks and master cylinder and a full Micron with stubby underseat exhausts. it has also been fitted with a Bazzaz traction control system whihc gives fueling and also a quickshift.
